Bio Hey, people! My name's Blackbird. I'm a native Oregonian with a love of field hockey and an extreme obsession with cherry licorice. My mom, step-dad, siblings and I moved to Virginia when I was about eight years old, pulling me up by the roots and setting me down again in a town no less than 3000 miles away from my home state. Just as I was settled and began to really like the area, we moved again to Cheese State, USA, where I knew nobody and felt like I was all alone.
Finally, a couple months after that "incident", I finally began to accept my surroundings, no matter how foreign they seemed at the time. I made a ton of new friends, tried out for and made the field hockey team (very important, people) and even began to love Wisconsin for the beautiful area it is. So now here I am, rugged survivor of many cities and streets, hoper, dreamer... and still as clumsy as I was when I learned to take my first steps.
So here's my journal, everyone, uncensored and weird to the very edge. Enjoy!
